Can I translate a video without changing the voice?
Yes. The planned subtitles-only option keeps your original audio and adds translated captions. Dubbing creates a new AI voiceover instead.
Is video translation available yet?
Not yet. The site is in early access while video processing is being connected. You can explore the preview layout and select a local file, but no video is uploaded or translated.
What will the free preview include?
One preview of up to 10 seconds, at up to 720p, with videotranslator.online watermarked in the center. No account or payment will be required.
Will the voice sound exactly like the speaker?
The first release will use standard AI voices. Voice cloning and lip synchronization are not included.
Which languages are planned?
English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese are the initial candidates. Only languages that pass our translation and voice checks will be enabled at launch.
Can I close the page while a video is processing?
Once a task is accepted, processing will continue in the background. Return in the same browser within the file retention period to check it. Clearing cookies or switching devices may prevent access to an anonymous task.
